Audio E-mail for Cell Phones

 

March 6, 2007 -- EVA, a division of St. George, Utah-based Virtual Management, has introduced a new service that allows users to receive and listen to e-mail messages on a cell phone, the company said Tuesday.

E-Max automatically calls the user when it receives a pre-tagged VIP e-mail and reads it to them over the phone, the company said.

Users can also post voice replies that are forwarded to the original sender as compressed wave files, the company said.
