Tech R&D Conference for Small Firms
March 6, 2007 -- The National Small Business Innovation Research and the Small Business Technology Transfer are co-hosting a conference on technology research and development for small business in Research Triangle Park, N.C., from April 30 to May 3, organizers said Tuesday.
The event is aimed at helping smaller businesses in the science and technology industry attract venture capital and other forms of funding for R&D, organizers said.
Event workshops will focus on ways to access the $2 billion in federal R&D grants and other contracts available to small business every year, as well as helping companies that are in further stages of funding stay on tack, organizers said.
