IP-telephony for Smaller Business
March 7, 2007 -- Telephony2 Corporation, a Redmond, Wash.-based communications-software company, on Wednesday launched CallButler, its feature-rich IP-telephony system for small businesses, the company said.
CallButler gives smaller firms access to features often associated with large corporations, such as auto-attendant, music on hold, and automatic call transfer to any telephone, fax, or mobile number, the company said.
The system also lets businesses customize calls based on caller ID, area code, or telephone number, and allows callers to find employee extensions by keying in their last name, the company said.
