Inc. 500 Optics Firm Merges With Utah Manufacturer
March 7, 2007 -- Image Labs International, a Bozeman, Mont.-based manufacturer of optical-imaging systems and vision-inspection tools, has merged with Reflect Scientific, an Orem, Utah-based manufacturer of scientific equipment, the companies announced Wednesday.
The move will enable Reflect Scientific to further expand its product line into the aerospace, defense, and environmental markets, the companies said.
"Image Labs' strategic fit with Reflect Scientific is excellent," John Hammerman, vice president of business development for Reflect Scientific, said in a statement. "Complementary skills in design and manufacturing of capital equipment and the addition of core capabilities in automation engineering and software will greatly benefit our overall business initiatives."
Image Labs ranked No. 441 on the 2001 Inc. 500 list of the nation's fastest-growing private companies.
