Inc. 500 E-mail Firm to Boost High-Tech Job Market
March 8, 2007 -- ExactTarget, an Indianapolis-based business that tracks e-mail campaigns, is partnering with the Indiana Economic Development Corporation to create more than 90 high-tech jobs in the Indianapolis area over the next three years, the company announced Thursday.
ExactTarget said it plans to expand its presence in the Indianapolis area, while providing economic, educational, and philanthropic support at the city and state level.
Part of that commitment includes a two-year fellowship program in business training for local graduates of Indiana colleges that seeks to attract and retain talented job-seekers in the region, the company said.
"ExactTarget is another great example of a homegrown, high-tech company helping to drive the ongoing surge in Indianapolis' economy," Indianapolis Mayor Bart Peterson said in a statement.
ExactTarget ranked No. 56 on the 2006 Inc. 500 list of the nation's fastest-growing private companies.
