Roundtable on Federal Contracts

 

March 14, 2007 -- The American Small Business Coalition, a private group that provides support services for companies doing business with federal agencies, will be hosting a small-business roundtable at the upcoming FOSE trade show and conference, to be held March 20-22 in Washington, organizers said.

The 25-minute talk, featuring Sen. Mike Gravel (D-Ark.), will address regulatory reform, healthcare, and procurement, organizers said.

"We appreciate Sen. Gravel accepting our invitation to sit down and discuss these issues with the segment of the business community contributing the most to the national economy and responsible for the most net new jobs in the U.S.," Guy Timberlake, head of the American Small Business Coalition, said in a statement.

FOSE, or Federal Office Systems Expo, is an annual technology showcase for military and government professionals. More than 15,000 federal high-tech buyers are expected to attend this year, organizers said.
