Partnership Expands Web Tools for Small Business
March 21, 2007 -- Register.com, a New York-based Web domain registration company, and Web.com, an Atlanta-based Web services firm, have formed a strategic partnership to offer website design tools, hosting, and domain services for small businesses, the companies announced Wednesday.
Under the agreement, Register.com will become the exclusive provider of domain names and parked pages for Web.com, allowing its customers to register and maintain a Web presence more easily, the companies said.
"This partnership will enable Register.com to offer our customers best of class do-it-yourself tools and website hosting services specifically designed to help small businesses build and manage their online presence," Larry Kutscher, CEO of Register.com, said in a statement.
