Date Set for Small Business Week Events
March 22, 2007 -- The Small Business Administration will mark Small Business Week, an annual celebration of the nation's top entrepreneurs, with special events on April 23-24 in Washington, the agency announced Thursday.
This year's events, which will take place at the Ronald Regan Building and International Trade Center, will recognize more than 100 small-business owners from across the nation -- ranging from a sausage maker to a bee keeper, organizers said.
The agency will also name the National Small Business Person of the Year, to be selected from 53 State winners. Throughout, business owners will be able to network with award winners, administration officials, members of Congress, and leaders of national business organizations, the agency said.
