House Committee Heading to Gulf Coast
April 6, 2007 -- The House Small Business Committee is heading to New Orleans to hold a hearing on federal contracts for small businesses involved in Gulf Coast rebuilding efforts, organizers said this week.
The hearing, set for April 12 at the Louisiana Supreme Court building, will include testimony from officials at various federal agencies that together account for 95 percent of relief effort contracting, as well as local small-business owners, organizers said.
