California Small-Business Conference Set for May
April 18, 2007 -- The first-ever California Small Business Success Conference is expected to draw over 5,000 small-business owners from the greater Los Angeles area, organizers said Wednesday.
The one-day event, set for May 2 in Pasadena, offers small employers the opportunity to meet officials from various state agencies and participate in an interactive trade show that will showcase the latest small business products.
Parts of the conference will be broadcast live on KNX 1070, L.A.'s largest AM news radio station, and is the first in a series of future events being sponsored this year by the California Small Business Success Conferences organization, organizers said.
"Small businesses in California are the foundation of our state economy and to be successful in both the short term and over the long haul, business owners need ongoing support and education," SBSC CEO Ken Keller said in a statement.
