Inc. 500 Ad Agency Acquires Media Firm

 

May 1, 2007 -- DazMedia, a Hackensack, N.J.-based advertising agency, has acquired Heavenspot, a new-media agency based in Los Angeles.

The deal brings Heavenspot's roster of film, television, and music clients together in a new digital agency division of DazGlobal, company officials said.

"DazMedia and Heavenspot are true digital advertising agencies that have had great success," Daz Connell, CEO of the newly-formed DazGlobal, said in a statement. "The next generation of advertising agencies will have to expertly navigate the Internet arena. Our digital expertise plus our East/West Coast presence, gives us an advantage over the traditional advertising shops."

DazMedia ranked No. 466 on the 2005 Inc. 500 list of the nation's fastest-growing private companies.
