Conference Examines Workplace Diversity

 

Business leaders will discuss workplace diversity issues at an annual conference hosted by the Conference Board this month in Chicago, organizers said.

"Rhythms of the World: Examining and Honoring our Uniqueness and Multiplicities" will address a range of topics, including managing generational differences, global cultural dexterity, leading diversity and inclusion, and spirituality in the workplace.

"Globalization has resulted in a 'flattening' of our world and greater demand for insights into how we can all work together and maximize our diverse contributions," Carole Weinstein, the conference's program director, said in a statement. "As we observe our dynamically changing workplaces, we see the challenges of our multiple generations and issues, yet we seek to honor and value our uniqueness."

The Conference Board Diversity Conference will be held May 23-24 at the Westin River North in Chicago.

The Conference Board is a private research organization based in New York.
