Forum Set for Minority Women Entrepreneurs
The Center for Women's Business Research and Babson College will hold the third of five forums to promote businesses owned by minority women next week in San Francisco, organizers announced Friday.
Accelerating the Growth and Success of Businesses Owned by Women of Color, a national research project aimed at identifying the difficulties faced by minority women entrepreneurs, brings together researchers and business owners to discuss problems and solutions on an individual, community, and national level. The results of the project will be announced along with public policy recommendations at a national conference in 2008.
The San Francisco forum will take place July 11 at the Parc Fifty Five Hotel. Business owners who are interested in participating can sign up by visiting www.womenbusinessresearch.org.
