Teen Entrepreneurs Win Scholarships
Twenty-six high school entrepreneurs from across the country have been awarded $1,000 scholarships as part of the National Federation of Independent Business/Wells Fargo Young Entrepreneur Awards.
The awards seek to foster the next generation of entrepreneurs by honoring entrepreneurial spirit and initiative, organizers said. Each of this year's winners had either started their own businesses or worked for a small employer.
They were chosen by an independent committee based on a 1,000-word essay, transcripts, and a nomination from an NFIB member.
