Venture Capital Meet-and-Greet

 

The top minority- and women-owned businesses from around the country are headed to Virginia in September for a conference with venture capital and angel investors, organizers said.

The MBE Capital Call Conference and Venture Forum, a two-day event sponsored by the Virginia Department of Minority Business Enterprise, will give entrepreneurs a chance to meet with investors and other financial advisors to discuss how to grow their businesses. Organizers also invite participants to submit a business plan for the chance to pitch to a panel of investors.
