Consultants to Brush Up on Basics

Small-business consultants from across the country will gather in Washington this fall for refresher courses in business basics and technology troubleshooting, among other topics.

SMB Nation, a three-day learning and networking event, will feature more than 40 instructional sessions led by entrepreneurs, IT specialists, and other small-business experts, organizers said. Special pre-event workshops in attracting clients and managing projects are also available.
