Businesses Head to New Orleans for Meetings, Rebuilding

 

Business leaders, government officials, educators and students are headed to New Orleans for a conference on trends in the workplace in October, organizers said.

The International Facility Management Association’s World Workplace Conference & Expo will focus on environmentally-friendly products and developments and international trends with educational workshops, product demonstrations and networking events.

The day after the conference, participants may volunteer to help rebuild one of the fire stations destroyed by Hurricane Katrina.

The conference will be held October 24-26 at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans. For more information, visit www.worldworkplace.org.
