Tips on Landing Fed Contracts
The National Defense Industrial Association will host a two-day conference in Michigan next month aimed at helping entrepreneurs do business with the government, organizers said this week.
"Five Steps to Winning Government Business," an annual event which is being extended to small businesses for the first time, will offer tips from defense industry officials on how to secure government contracts, as well as information on federal small-business contracting goals.
"There's a mystique to doing business with the government right now," Constance Blair, the conference chairwoman, said in a statement. The conference will be held Sept. 12-13 at the Hilton in Troy, Mich. For more information, visit www.ndia-mich.org
