Imation Upgrades Removable Hard Disk Storage

 

Imation (NYSE:IMN)  on Monday announced several enhancements to its Imation Odyssey removable hard disk.

Designed to store and protect enterprise data for small businesses and home offices, Odyssey provides users with fast backup, accurate restores and easy disaster recovery. The upgrade includes the option of an internal USB docking station, instead of the existing external one, that works with next-generation hard disk cartridges, as well as an expanded cartridge capacity of 250G.

Imation also announced that it will partner with MarketLink Services to increase distribution, making it easier for end users to locate and purchase the Odyssey system. Suggested retail price is $189 to $299.
