Innovation Leaders Heading to Washington

 

Business leaders and policymakers will gather in the nation's capital this week for the inaugural National Summit on American Competitiveness.

Hosted by Commerce Secretary Carlos Gutierrez, the event will address key issues relating to competitiveness, including education, innovation partnerships, and energy policies, among others, organizers said.

Keynote speakers will include Education Secretary Margaret Spellings and Labor Secretary Elaine Chao. The summit will be held on Sept. 18. For more information, visit www.americancompetitiveness.com.
