Tech Data to Offer New Red Hat Training

 

Tech Data (NASDAQ:TECD) has introduced 25 Red Hat professional training courses through TDEducation, its technical training and certification services division, offering Red Hat resellers a range of services to simplify certification.

The Red Hat courses will enable resellers to obtain or resell training for Red Hat Certified Technician (RHCT) or Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) certifications.

RHCT certification allows resellers who are transitioning all or part of their operations to a Linux-based platform to better understand Red Hat solutions. RHCE certification expands on that expertise to include network configuration services and security on servers running a Red Hat operating system.

"Our partnership with Tech Data has enabled us to expand our partner base," Mark Enzweiler, vice president North American Channel Sales of Red Hat said in a statement. "Earning the RHCT and RHCE certifications are important milestones for our resellers, creating new opportunities for them to grow their services revenue."
