Pathway Communications and Comverse to Offer Voice Services
Pathway Communications and Comverse Technology (OTC:CMVT) have teamed up to offer voice services using Comverse's MyCall Converged Communications and Converged IPCentrex Solutions.
The new offerings include IP Trunking and IPCentrex for small and midsize business subscribers. The new agreement will also allow Pathway to delivery Comverse VoIP solutions to resellers and virtual service providers.
"The hosted Applications Service Provider model is experiencing a revival with the advent of VoIP services as small and medium businesses are realizing the cost-savings passed on by resellers," Ashok Kalle, CEO of Pathway, said in a statement.
Comverse Telephony Application Server, a key component of the new service, will deliver pre-integrated IP telephony, call control, and Web-based self-care. Service features include network announcements, voicemail, interactive voice response, conferencing, and attendant console.
