Ingram Micro Launches Networking Web Sites

 

Ingram Micro (NYSE:IM) has introduced two new online networking resources aimed at network solution provider partners in the U.S. and Canada.

The Zone, comprising four online business-to-business social networking Web sites, is designed as an online meeting place for solution providers to find potential partners free of charge. M&A Forum is an open online marketplace allowing solution providers to exchange information and find candidates for mergers, acquisitions and capital investments at a reduced rate. It also acts as a resource for establishing merger and acquisition best practices.

The Zone's four networking tools -- VentureTech Zone, SMB Alliance Zone, System ArchiTECHS Zone and GovEd Alliance Zone -- allow users to create and maintain profiles, contacts lists, blogs, as well as host topical groups, and participate in online discussions through chat room functionality.
