InkTM From Chase Mercedes-Benz Lease Giveaway
1) Eligibility: NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER. This Sweepstakes is offered and open only to persons who are legal residents of the fifty (50) United States or Washington DC at least eighteen (18) years of age or age of majority on the date of entry and who are full-time employees in good standing of companies selected for the 2009 Inc. 500|5000 List including company alumni of Inc. 500|5000 lists dating back to 1999 who are paid attendees and are present at the 2009 Inc. 500|5000 Conference and Award Ceremony, September 24-25, 2009 at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center, National Harbor, MD. Further, entrants are required to be licensed drivers, at least 18 years of age (at least 19 years of age if a resident of Alabama or Nebraska, at least 21 years of age if a resident of Mississippi) on date of entry. Alternately an eligible person may enter online without being present at the Conference and Award Ceremony. See Rule #2 for compete entry details. Void wherever prohibited. This Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state & local laws & regulations. Grand Prize does NOT include vehicle options, taxes, fees, title costs, registration and insurance.
Not eligible to enter or win this Sweepstakes are employees, their immediate family members (parents, spouses, siblings, and children) and all other members of the same household of Mansueto Ventures LLC ("Sponsor" of this Sweepstakes), Chase Bank USA, N.A., companies sponsoring the 2009 Inc. 500|5000 Conference and Award Ceremony, speakers or panel members presenting at the 2009 Inc. 500|5000 Conference and Award Ceremony, Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC, Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center and their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, parent companies, and their respective advertising, promotion and event management agencies.
2) To Enter: Sweepstakes begins on/about 7:30 AM Eastern Time ("ET") on Thursday September 24, 2009 and ends at 2:00 PM ET on Friday September 25, 2009 ("Entry Period".) Those eligible to enter may do so during the Entry Period by going to the InkTM from Chase Booth "A" at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center, completing an official entry form including answering a series of questions about their business in order to be included in the mural wall at the Chase booth. Deposit the completed official entry form in the designated area no later than 2:00 PM on Friday September 25, 2009. Alternately, during the Entry Period only, an eligible person may enter online by going to http://www.inc.com/partners/chase/terms.html, completing the entry form in the Sweepstakes area, and clicking to submit. Limit one entry per eligible person regardless of method of entry. All entries become property of the Sponsor and will not be returned. Releasees (as defined in Rule #5) assume no responsibility for incorrect or inaccurate entry information, or for any human or other error, technical malfunctions, or any late, lost, illegible, incomplete or misdirected entries. Entry materials that have been tampered with or altered are void. No copies, facsimiles or reproductions of official entry form will be accepted unless otherwise specified by Sponsor. By entering, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and all applicable laws and consent to use by Sponsor and its designees of their names &/or photographs for advertising or publicity purposes without further consideration, except where prohibited by law.
3) Prize Drawing: Potential Grand Prize Winner will be selected in a random drawing on or about 2:45 PM ET on Friday September 25, 2009 from among all eligible entries received. The potential Grand Prize Winner does not need to be present at booth for drawing. IMPORTANT: Sponsor will notify potential Grand Prize Winner by phone between 2:45 PM and 5:00 PM ("Notification Period") on Friday September 25, 2009. If potential winner cannot be reached during the Notification Period, that potential winner will be disqualified and an alternate selected and contacted. The potential winner will be required to sign, have notarized and return an affidavit of eligibility/release of liability and, where legal, a publicity release within seven (7) days of issuance of notification or an alternate winner will be selected until such time a winner is confirmed. The possibility exists that the entrant announced as the Grand Prize Winner at the black-tie Gala and Awards Ceremony may later be disqualified as a result of non-compliance with these Official Rules in which case an alternate winner may be selected at the sole discretion of Sponsor. Odds of winning the Grand Prize are subject to total number of eligible entries received.
4. Grand Prize: One (1) Grand Prize Winner will receive a (39) thirty-nine month lease ("Lease") for a 2010 Mercedes-Benz GLK350 4Matic with Premium Package. Approximate Retail Value of Grand Prize is $24,006. Actual Lease value may vary depending on time of award. Mansueto Ventures LLC is the Prize provider and will cover the cost of the (39) thirty-nine month Lease payments only. Grand Prize Winner will be required to successfully complete and pass a credit application to process the Lease paperwork and any other documentation or screening required by the delivering dealer and/or Mercedes-Benz Financial. Certain restrictions apply and the Grand Prize Winner may not qualify for the Lease, in which case the Prize will be forfeited and an alternate Winner selected. The Lease is subject to all terms and conditions of lease agreement of the designated dealership, including without limitation, returning the vehicle in "good" condition (as determined by the Lessor) and with no more than 32,500 miles. The Sponsor will not provide and specifically disclaims any warranties other than the standard written new vehicle limited warranty provided with the vehicle. The Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a Prize of the same approximate retail value. Grand Prize Winner will be responsible for maintaining all insurance coverage required under the lease and under applicable laws, and shall be responsible for any other taxes, including income taxes, of any, costs, expenses, license, title and registration fees, liabilities and/or claims under the Lease, without limitation, excessive miles at $0.25/mile (or applicable mileage rate at time of vehicle turn-in) over 32,500 miles, wear and tear, maintenance and/or damage to the Lease vehicle. Lease vehicle will be leased and delivered only within the United States or D.C. from a dealership designated by Mercedes-Benz. Grand Prize Winner must take delivery of the lease vehicle at the dealership designated by the dated designated by Mercedes-Benz. Any travel or transportation costs associated with winning of the leased vehicle will be responsibility of Grand Prize Winner. Mercedes-Benz and Sponsor shall not be responsible for delays in delivery of lease vehicle and delivery is subject to availability. Mercedes-Benz, however, shall use all reasonable efforts, subject to availability to deliver the lease vehicle with one hundred eighty (180) days after receipt of the Prize Winner items/information described in this paragraph. The Grand Prize Winner must personally retrieve the lease vehicle within thirty (30) days of written notification of delivery and must present adequate personal identification and evidence of legally required insurance (or an alternate Winner shall be selected and the original Winner's rights to the lease vehicle shall be automatically forfeited). Any automobile storage costs resulting from the Winner's inability to collect Prize in the time noted is the sole responsibility of the Winner. Releasees shall not have any responsibility or liability whatsoever for any property loss, damage, personal injury or death in connection with the acceptance, misuse or use of the lease vehicle provided pursuant to the Sweepstakes and/or any person's participation in the Sweepstakes. Mercedes-Benz shall be solely responsible for any express written limited warranties specifically set forth in the applicable Owner's Guide for the lease vehicle. The depiction of the lease vehicle shown or described in any promotional materials may not reflect the actual vehicle delivered to Grand Prize Winner. No substitution, cash alternative or transfer of Prize permitted, except by Sponsor in its sole discretion. All details of Prize not specified herein shall be determined solely by Sponsor. All expenses relating to acceptance of Prize, which are not explicitly listed herein as being awarded, are responsibility of Winner. Sponsor will honor any applicable employer policy regarding the acceptance of a Prize by an employee. A potential Winner is not a confirmed Winner until he/she has been verified as the Grand Prize Winner by the Sponsor or judges.
