Kidz ReAct Apparel, a clothing line designed for children who suffer from allergies, developed without the benefit of focus groups, research teams, product testing and corporate capital. The company was birthed from the needs of a single mother with a desire to create a product to address her child and family's medical/educational needs.
Born in 2002 with a seven week developmental delay, the founding business partner's daughter was unable to attend day care due to the possibilities of RSV complications. Although this condition subsided when the child turned two, language development challenges made it challenging for the child to express to care givers that she was allergic to eggs, beef, peanuts, and milk. Health forms, monthly meal menus and Epi Pen medicine to counteract the harmful and, possibly fatal, effects of being exposed to allergens provided by and to the childcare center did little to ease the concerns of a caring mother.
However, the answer to the question of "how can I send my child to daycare--so we can eat and have a place to live--while ensuring she is not exposed to something that may harm her?" created Kidz ReAct Apparel.
Kidz ReAct Apparel is a fun, creative and educational clothing line that helps to remind childcare providers about the health challenges experienced by many of America's youngest citizens.
The organization's founder has developed a business plan, enrolled in business classes, identified potential investors, conducted research and created the company’s logo. The organization needs to apply for its license, register its trademark, and establish production systems. There is a wealth of other items that the organization must complete. Capital secured through the History Channel's Lincoln Self Made in America Contest would be utilized to help address some of the organization’s need. Consider investing in this product!

I wonder what she is putting into this clothing line that will make it easier to identify allergies. Would like more factual information.
