Louis Roederer Cristal Brut 1990, Millenium 2000, Methuselah

When it comes time to pop the cork and celebrate, no vintage beats Louis Roederer Cristal Brut 1990, Millenium 2000, Methuselah. Cristal created the exclusive champagne to celebrate the new millennium and produced only 2,000 of the six-liter bottles. Amber in color and sweet as light honey, the bubbly was initially sold at $2,000 each. Now, the champagne regularly fetches more than $17,000 at auction. In 2005, it became the world’s most expensive bottle ever sold, when an auction-goer paid $17,625. Cost: Christie’s auction house has several lots currently for sale, and it estimates the price range between $8,000 and $12,000
