Get all of your information from your favorite sites at once by opening up duplicate tabs on Firefox 3 and make browsing easier. Hold down your original tab as you hit Ctrl to duplicate into in the empty space.
If you like to keep straight all of the websites you visit in a given day, then try Firefox bookmarking with the star icon. This star is on the location bar and with a simple click, the star saves the URL into your bookmarks.
Create minimalist chic for your toolbar by right-clicking on the toolbar, selecting Customize and Use small Icons. Your toolbar will instantly shrink with much smaller selections (especially the Back button).
If you share a computer and want to keep the sites you visit discreet, go to Tools, then Clear Private Data (Ctrl+Shift+Delete). You can also go to Options and select Always Clear My Private Data When I Use Firefox.
When you’re rushed for time, rely on Firefox’s address fill in. You don’t need to type in .www or .com. When you’ve typed in your word, hit Ctrl-Enter which will fill in the .www or the .com. Shift-Enter works for .net and Control-Shift-Enter works for .org addresses.

Add simple keywords to find your bookmarked pages fast. Go to the Library on Firefox 3 and type in keywords such as links, social, and news, which would be appropriate for your bookmarked pages of Digg, Facebook, and CNN.
With the Security Checker, you can see if a site is for real or not by clicking on the Security icon next to the address bar. A green icon is a verified secured site, a blue one contains basic security, and a white icon doesn’t show any security.
As you type in more addresses, the Smart Location bar learns which sites are your favorites. So the next time you type in books, the auto complete function wakes up to give you possible websites such as GoodReads.com, Barnes and Noble, and The New York Times Book Review.
Firefox 3.0 has over 5,000 third-party add-ons and you can access this library by using the Add-Ons Manager to send files directly to your browser. You can also read the ratings and recommendations for these add-ons using the Manager function.
