This wide open office space, for the peer-to-peer car sharing service Getaround, is located in Howard Centre, the warehouse district of San Francisco. They used Idea Paint for an entire wall, to the right, for jotting down ideas with dry erase markers.—John Brandon

The Shamin Abas Public Relations offices in downtown West Palm Beach look like an inviting fishbowl from the street. The agency caters to the luxury, retail, fashion, beauty, and business sectors so an appealing front entrance is imperative.
This converted bra factory in Ottawa, Canada is now one of two homes for art printing start-up CanvasPop. (The other office is in Las Vegas.) It has a full DJ booth on the factory floor. The 30-foot ceilings, exposed brick walls, and bright colors are good for getting the creative juices flowing.
San Mateo-based Coupa, an e-procurement start-up, converted an old bank into its home office. This vault still locks, as they found out the hard way after moving into the space. The office also has a keg for office parties and a shuffleboard table.
Visitors to the Burbank, California, office for Pure Fix Bicycles will immediately notice a plethora of bike racks--which are also used for holding books. There's also a "wall of wheels" and a colorful mural.
Rios Clementi Hale Studios in L.A. is a multi-disciplinary design firm that does work in the architecture, landscape, interiors, graphics, and product categories. The company converted an entire mall into office space--complete with a working cafe on the lower level.
Located in the Flatiron District of New York, the Morris + King PR agency, which reps several tech companies, boasts a bright, open floor plan in its main office. There are wood floors, lots of windows, and vibrant colors like yellow and blue throughout the space.
