Ditch the Cubes
“Working in a cramped private office staring at the same scenery all day isn’t desirable,” says Brucha, and cubicles are a thing of the past. “The old notion of work was to sequester people in a cube and have them hammer away. Now people are learning there’s a better result that comes out collaboration.” To really foster creativity, create a space where small groups of people can gather. “Back in the day, they had big boardrooms, but now they’ve gotten a whole lot smaller,” he says. “More desk-side meetings are happening.”
