On the heels of the 24th annual Inc. 500, Omniture, No. 259 on the 2005 list, has filed for a $120 million IPO, according to Reuters. The company is in the web analytics software business. According to the Salt Lake Tribune, the company roughly doubled in terms of revenue last year, to $40 million up from $20 million in 2004. And it's on track to close $60 million in business a year this year, the paper says.
The deal caps a frenzy of activity involving Inc. 500 companies. In the past few weeks, Alienware and Jamba Juice were acquired and Under Amour went public in November.
