Racing Past the Finish Line

 

Although the second season of ABC's American Inventor ended this summer, the finalists' pursuit for success with their inventions has continued. On the last episode, the grand prize was awarded to Greg Chavez for his guardian angel Christmas tree fire extinguisher. But, really, all the finalists won because they got a lot of national publicity and the opportunity to connect with major players in their respective industries.

Last month, the Los Angeles finalist, Rick DeRennaux of HT Racer fame, contacted me to dish on what he's been up to since the show ended.
