Having worked on the Best Lemonade Stand in America Contest for Inc.com over the last two years, I've seen firsthand how children have transformed their small earnings made selling lemonade into donations to community causes, to cancer research, even to sending care packages to soldiers in Iraq. Children have an innate desire to help, and a new book and website offers children a look at another way a small amount of money, often no more than what they make during a day selling lemonade, can make an enormous difference in an individual's life and community.
