After reading a story in this morning's Times about the new search engine Cuil (pronounced "cool"), developed by several former Google employees, I figured I'd take it for a test run. The company says its engine is more comprehensive than Google's after all.
So I started by typing in the phrase "Inc. magazine" and was told that Cuil didn't find any results. Really? Nothing? So I tried two more times. Same disappointing message. I'm not ready to write the site off for good, but not exactly the way you want to roll out a highly publicized project that's received $33 million in funding. Anyone have better luck?
