Hot Fixes For Those Iced Out Of Office 2003

 

Microsoft has issued a slate of hot fixes for Office 2003 users finding themselves unable to access their own files.

The story was first reported over the weekend. The glitch apparantly cropped up between the Rights Management Service (RMS) on Windows Server 2003 used to protect Office 2003 documents.

This is my favorite part of the story. The reason this happened? Because the RMS certificates expired on their six year anniversary.

Here they are; fixes for Microsoft Word Viewer, Office Client, and Excel.

Make sure you only download the fix unless you need it. It can cause problems, otherwise.
