XP Users Warned To Update Adobe Flash NOW

It's a slow month for Microsoft, in terms of "Patch Tuesday". It came and went this week with only minor security patches and software fixes to download. However, it did come with a sobering warning for Windows XP users.

If you're still using Adobe Flash 6.0 that came loaded with your operating system; well, uh, it's time to update that puppy and do it now!

Who knew? Adobe's flash player is one of the most popular applications on the Windows desktop that hackers like to exploit with their malware.

Adobe 6.0 came with a number of vulnerabilities that would actually allow an outside bot to takeover your entire PC. Adobe has long since stopped supporting version 6.0.
