Facebook: Convert Personal to Business

 

Here's a frustrating dilemma: having 500, a thousand-plus Facebook friends and the prospect of zero fans on your new Facebook business page. If only you could migrate those folks right over and have an instant fan base. Well, actually you can now.

Facebook is now offering a tool to convert your personal page into a business page.

Be warned, however. The migration tool only transfers your profile picture and friends list. It does not convert other pictures, your wall posts or links to all the things you "like". Also know that once you convert your profile to a business page there is no turning back. You cannot convert it back to a profile.
