Gmail Ups To 25k Contacts

 

This could be a winner for some small businesses or self-employed consultants that rely on Gmail. You can now store up to 25,000 contacts in a single account.

Previously, the limit was 10,000.

Even better, users can now store a lot more information within the notes field of those contacts. File sizes were previously limited to 32KB. It's now 128KB.

For personal use, it's unlikely anyone will ever need this free upgrade. However for business use, it could be a real plus.

My two cents worth; I do think it would be helpful if Google threw in some new contact management tools to handle 25,000 contacts should someone actually accumulate that many.

You do get what you pay for, however.
