The Service Corps of Retired Executives (SCORE) offers a network of more than 700 business experts available to counsel entrepreneurs on everything from writing a business plan to negotiating a business sale. Questions are submitted through SCORE's Web site, and a searchable database lets users focus their queries on more than 600 topics. Counselors provide assistance through e-mail, though they may refer users to their local SCORE chapter for more comprehensive advice.
