Escrow Agreement for Property

The Escrow Agreement for Property is an agreement between a purchaser and a vendor whereby the attorneys for the purchaser and the vendor execute the agreement. The agreement provides that the purchase and sale of the property is extended to a future date but the Vendor releases the key to the property to the purchaser pending the attorneys holding in escrow the closing documents for the transaction and any monies paid or received until such time the transaction closes.
