For Josh Bersin, CEO of Bersin & Associates, it's all about hiring the right people to create a positive workplace culture. "We need to be very careful that we're hiring people that get up in the morning and are excited," he says. "Since everybody was virtual in the early days, the only way we could manage people was to make sure they were wired that way." The company maintains (roughly) a five percent turnover rate, and even though the company is mostly virtual, Bersin brings down all of the employees to the company's annual conference in Florida. "They get to meet each other and sit around the pool and have a good time."
