"I want to have a legacy and I want this company to go on long after I'm gone," says Iris Harrell, founder and CEO of Harrell Remodeling. Harrell has gradually built her company into a staff of 40 who are encouraged to become owners through the Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). The company takes on roughly 100 projects a year and credits its success to team work. "Twenty-first century leadership has to be collaborative to be successful."
