While there's no shortage of useful information online, my favorite way to learn new marketing trends and strategies that will help me grow my business is through in-person conferences. Not only are they extremely valuable for networking, but they also bring together some of the brightest minds in the industry to do deep-dives on content strategy, social media, technology, metrics, and more.

This year has already seen some solid conferences, but there are still plenty of promising events to come in the last few months of the year. Check out your schedule for this fall and winter, and book a ticket to one (or more!) of these top conferences still coming up in 2018.

Content Marketing World

I attend Content Marketing World every year -- it's the biggest content marketing event of the year, after all -- and it always proves beneficial, especially from a brand storytelling angle. This year's conference will offer more than 120 sessions on content strategy, metrics, content marketing trends, and new innovations in branded content with speakers from companies like Google, REI, Pinterest, Contently, and more. Plus, the Cleveland event provides a prime opportunity for networking.

Inbound

Inbound is another incredible option for the first week of September. This one brings together sales and marketing professionals to help you maximize your brand's power through all areas of the customer experience -- and it does so with an impressive list of speakers. The 2018 conference, which includes more than 250 breakout sessions, boasts Shonda Rhimes, Ronan Farrow, and Lena Waithe among its featured speakers, with Deepak Chopra delivering the keynote.

September 4-7, 2018, Boston, MA

AWNewYork

Advertising Week's October conference, AWNewYork, offers a packed four-day schedule full of more than 270 seminars and workshops, and incredible networking opportunities to boot. The sessions cover the latest in advertising and marketing trends with focuses on marketing technology, experiential marketing, and data-driven marketing choices. This year's speakers represent a wide array of specialties and insider knowledge: Among them are Arianna Huffington, Bozoma Saint John, actor Adrian Grenier, as well as leaders from Wayfair, UNICEF, and more.

Help Inc celebrate the country's fastest growing companies -- and gain valuable insight for your own -- at the Inc.5000 Conference & Gala. Social Media Strategies Summit

Unsurprisingly, the Social Media Strategies Summit focuses on social media, but it's not just about what your company should post about on Twitter. I attended Ad Age Next last year, and left with a solid dose of insight on creating and executing my 2018 marketing strategies. The annual event focuses on tech and innovation, and helps you home in on which marketing trends are worth the investment.
