No matter how great your office or co-working space may be, there comes a time to step away from your desk and attend an industry conference. These meetings of the minds give you a chance to grow your professional network, check out the newest tech and tools in your field, and immerse yourself in cutting edge ideas and trends to take back to your business and clients.

2017 may be halfway through, but there are still plenty of social media, content marketing, digital marketing, and SEO conferences left to attend this year. Pick an area where you want to grow, and clear your schedule for one of these top conferences.

July: MozCon

You've gotta love MozCon's promise of "Exceptional speakers. Actionable tactics. Lots of snacks." This three-day conference focuses on the ever-evolving world of SEO, along with brand development, CRO, analytics, and content marketing. Luminaries from digital properties like HubSpot, Etsy, ClassPass, Google, and (of course) Moz lead the way.

July 17 - 19, Seattle, Washington

August: Litmus Live

We've talked about email subject lines that need to be banished forever, but there are no greater experts in how to send better marketing emails than at Litmus Live. This conference focuses on how to create emails that perform well and engage audiences, including sessions on data-driven email design, lifecycle campaign planning, cross-channel strategies, email development tools, and more.

August 2-4, Boston

September: Content Marketing World

Right after Labor Day Weekend, get ready for the largest content marketing event of the year: Content Marketing World. Held in Cleveland, this year's summit has more than 120 sessions and workshops led by top level executives from the likes of Google, IBM, GE, Shopify, REI, Intel, LinkedIn, Estee Lauder and more--not to mention some incredible networking opportunities.

September 5 - 8, Cleveland, Ohio

October: Social Media Strategies Summit

Despite the conference's name, the Social Media Strategies Summit covers more than just social media. #SMSummit dives into broader content and traditional media strategies, along with the newest tools to help marketers execute social media tactics. Marketers from Viacom, Microsoft, BNY Mellon, FreshDirect, and more are expected to appear.

October 17 - 19, New York City. Social Media Strategies Summit also has events in Boston (November 2-3), San Francisco (February 6-8, 2018), and Chicago (April 2018).

November: Pubcon

What happens in Vegas better show up on your social media if you attend Pubcon--it is a digital marketing and social media conference, after all. This year's event is expected to be the largest in its 17-year history, and includes an optional master class training session on November 6th.

November 6-9, Las Vegas

December: Content Marketing Summit

Get in one last SEO training before the holidays with Content Marketing Summit, which has sessions on monetizing social media presence, targeting SEO, audience outreach, content marketing, and tracking. While this year's speakers are still TBD at time of publication, organizers do have a guide on how to "Convince the Boss" to let you attend.

December 11-12, New York
