It's not easy being a creative genius.
Page Six leaked an expletive-laden rant from musician Kanye West during his Saturday Night Live performance earlier this week. According to the gossip website, the Yeezy designer was upset after an SNL production crew redesigned part of his stage. In particular, he was upset that staffers didn't consult him because he was "50 percent" more influential than "Stanley Kubrick, Picasso, Apostle Paul, f--g Picasso, and [Pablo] Escobar."
This isn't the first time West has compared himself to some pretty powerful people in history. In 2013, West declared in an interview that his legacy was comparable to that of Apple cofounder Steve Jobs.
"I think what Kanye West is going to mean is something similar to what Steve Jobs means. I am undoubtedly, you know, Steve of internet, downtown, fashion, culture," West told the New York Times' Jon Caramanica.
As West continues to make headlines, Inc. rounded up some of the best quotes from the rapper/producer/fashion designer, and the now-deceased tech icon. Test your knowledge of the two cultural icons below.
