RetailMeNot Inc. (SALE) on Tuesday reported third-quarter net income of $114,000.
The Austin, Texas-based company said it had profit of less than 1 cent on a per-share basis. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to 10 cents per share.
The results surpassed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of six analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 5 cents per share.
The online coupon company posted revenue of $64.6 million in the period, which did not meet Street forecasts. Six analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $66.3 million.
For the current quarter ending in December, RetailMeNot said it expects revenue in the range of $90 million to $98 million.
The company expects full-year revenue in the range of $273.6 million to $281.5 million.
RetailMeNot shares have dropped roughly 9 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has risen slightly more than 1 percent in the last 12 months.
