
Virtu Financial Inc. (VIRT) on Friday reported third-quarter net income of $7 million.
On a per-share basis, the New York-based company said it had net income of 18 cents. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs and stock option expense, were 20 cents per share.
The high-speed trading company posted revenue of $164.8 million in the period.
Virtu Financial shares have fallen 45 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has dropped 50 percent in the last 12 months.
