Sam is a director at Nyhus Communications in Seattle, where his work covers the firm’s crisis communications practice, as well as strategic counsel for clients facing policy and reputational hurdles. Sam previously worked as a vice president at a national crisis management firm in Washington, DC. He also worked as an international trade lobbyist, representing U.S. companies on trade and investment issues. He has written for numerous publications on communications issues, including Newsweek, City AM London, Investor’s Business Daily and others. Sam has lectured on crisis communications at Georgetown University and at George Washington University’s Masters School of Media and Public Affairs.
