Teneshia Carr started her career in London in 2005, working as a photographer and creative director. She has directed fashion and creative campaigns for multiple brands as well as photographing for international fashion magazines and brands such as Jimmy Choo, Bobby Brown, Amazon, and Net-A-Porter. Carr also has consulted for brands across various sectors in London, New York, and Tokyo. Ranging from organic beauty to fashion and lingerie, this work allows her a wide understanding of the needs of brands on an international level.
Carr started Blanc Media and Blanc magazine in a small London studio in 2013 with an eclectic group of creatives and influencers looking for a new way of working within the fashion industry. Blanc began as a ray of hope for those creative influencers feeling underserved, underrepresented, and unheard and in need of authentic inspiration and a company that celebrated otherness. Blanc Media now engages in creative projects with global brands looking for authentic and diverse content. Blanc magazine is internationally distributed three times per year.
