We've all been frustrated with slow traffic -- but few have the power of Elon Musk to actually do something about it.
Stuck in traffic Sunday morning, the Tesla creator fired off a series of tweets with a solution to the bane of commuters worldwide -- boring tunnels underneath roadways to circumvent congestion.
Traffic is driving me nuts. Am going to build a tunnel boring machine and just start digging...

It shall be called "The Boring Company"

Boring, it's what we do

I am actually going to do this

And as a member of President-elect Trump's advisory team, Musk might have the right connections to land his first big tunnel project. Trump has pledged to invest $1 trillion in public-private partnerships to improve infrastructure, including American roadways.
Though Musk could be simply venting on social media like many drivers before him, we are talking about the man who has a master plan to colonize Mars. Plus, he updated his Twitter bio Sunday to reflect his most current résumé: "Tesla, SpaceX, Tunnels (yes, tunnels) & OpenAI."
