The much-hyped transformation of the American workplace goes far beyond just a rise in remote and hybrid work arrangements. Two-thirds of venture-backed startup founders say they're reconsidering their investment in their offices entirely, according to a 2020 survey by consulting firm The Kung Group. Many entrepreneurs have already elected to eschew a conventional office space--with some even packing a few essentials and setting up shop wherever the road takes them.
